Right now, we are seeking a highly-motivated Instructional Designer at Western Union's Global Headquarters in Englewood, Colorado.
This position is responsible for analyzing content, identifying gaps, and executing on training needs for global call center training courseware. The candidate is primarily responsible for ensuring that all Web training is developed, produced, and QA checked and that all other courseware is authored, edited, corrected, published, and delivered in a timely manner. This position also requires that all project stakeholders are kept informed of the documentation's progress over the life of the project. Additional requirements include strong verbal and written communication skills, strong editing skills, and a strong attention to detail. We are looking for someone who can work independently as well as part of a team who can ramp up quickly on tools and adhere to department style guides. This role reports to the Training Development Manager.

: Candidate must be willing and able to report to the Corporate Office during standard business hours.
Key Responsibilities
: Research, design, develop and evaluate instructional programs, curriculum, and materials which provide performance/accomplishment-based skills training. o Develop learning content using state-of-the-art instructional design techniques and strategies for e-learning/Web-based training, instructor-led and self-paced learning modalities. o Work closely with supervisors, trainers and subject matter experts to ensure training materials are effective, current, and relevant. o Ensure effectiveness of instructional design and related training efforts through analysis, design and evaluation best practices.
Requirements
: Bachelor's degree in related field from a fully-accredited university or equivalent plus a minimum of 3-5 years related experience o Strong, proven experience with developing a variety of different kinds of software training materials, including quick reference guides, student guides, instructor guides, and CBTs. Tools desired: Camtasia, Storyline, FrameMaker, and Photoshop

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
