Requirements
Skills and
Experience:
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; and five years related experience including four years of supervisory/management experience and/or people development training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge base in advanced training methodologies, adult learning theory, and evaluation processes preferred.
Competencies include excellent presentation/facilitation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
Flexible, innovative and the ability to manage staff, responsibilities and priorities in a fast paced, growth-oriented and time-critical environment.
Previous supervisory experience interpersonal skills for communicating and working with any level of management in a professional and effective manner.
Must be adept in giving verbal feedback and written critiques pertaining to the training materials and quality feedbacks.
Intermediate MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Ability to effectively respond to and interact with all levels of organizational staff.
Ability to travel up to 50% including locally, nationally and internationally.
Responsibilities
T he
Manager, Training and Quality
will be responsible for the training and quality of our internal call centers and third party vendors. The ideal candidate will work to make strategic decisions regarding the best methods and practices to ensure that the staff meets or exceeds quality workmanship and customer service by producing properly trained employees. The role will have the opportunity to identify ways to strengthen the existing process as an outward-facing champion with a high-level of interaction and coordination between internal and external groups.
Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:
Partners with the leadership team to develop new curriculum and pilots for the sales and customer service call center.
Facilitation of classroom training on business practices and leadership development.
Formulates training policies, programs, and schedules, based on knowledge of identified training needs, company production processes, business systems, or changes in products, procedures, or services
Formulates and develops training using various OLT and ILT platforms based on business needs.
Selects appropriate instructional procedures or methods such as individual education, group instruction, self study, lectures, demonstrations, simulation exercises, role play, course curriculum, computer-based training and/or satellite distance learning.
Accountable for collecting and reviewing all reports and subsequently making training recommendations.
Works with management to communicate quality of work measurements and recommend improvements.
Responsible for identifying and staying current with any technical issues in the field and quickly reporting the issue back to the appropriate departments.

Responsible for developing leadership at all levels and building bench strength.
Creates consistency across vendors and monitors them to ensure DISH standards are upheld.
Conducts needs analysis studies and confers with business partners to determine training needs.
Trains, develops and evaluates all staff reporting to the individual
Maintains records and prepares reports to evaluate performance of direct reports and monitor progress of trainees. Provides immediate feedback during these evaluations.
Manages the on-boarding and training of new trainers both for DISH and for our vendors.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
