Position Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic scrummaster to join our team! In this role you will be overseeing high performing software development teams while working under the Agile methodology. The Scrum Master coaches team members in all aspects of the Agile/Scrum process, creating a culture of continuous improvement and self organization. Responsibilities:
- Act as the leader to the software development team and help shape behavior though excellent management via the Agile method. - Coach and facilitate team events, ensuring the team follows Agile processes and ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Estimation, Sprint Planning, Retrospective, and refinement & Review/Demo). - Oversee the design, implementation, QA, and validation of programing code and products. - Build strong relationships with stakeholders, application users, and program owners, keeping all parties well informed on team progress and activities. - Help team continuously set realistic objectives for Feature and Sprint delivery. - Document processes and communicate to upper management and stakeholders on progress. - Assist the product owner in keeping the backlog groomed. - Maintain relevant metrics for the team to help team track progress. - Remove impediments and blockers for the team as they arise. - Responsible for successful product delivery. Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- Demonstrated ability to coach/mentor team members in Agile methodologies. - Excellent communication and facilitation skills. - Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodology. - Experience with SAFe, SAFe ASM, CSM, PSM I. - SAFe Certified Scrum Master. - Knowledge of Kanban and Agile Central. Skill Set Years of Experience Proficiency Level Implementing Agile Methodologies 5
