Job Description:
At CoBank, our Technical Analyst defines business, data and processing requirements, facilitates user acceptance testing and conducts training activities for implementations.
They will also ensure new functionality is accurately and appropriately integrated into installed components of the architecture.
This person will also act as a primary interface between the technical team and the business.
Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a computer science, information systems, or relevant discipline.
Four (4) or more years of relevant experience in information technology, preferably in the banking or financial services industry; or appropriate combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications Advanced knowledge of identifying and documenting business and technical requirements.
Demonstrated outstanding analytical, verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills Skills with SQL and SQL Server Integration Services.
Skills with scripting or development languages such as VB Script, PowerShell, and C# Skills in Joint Application Design (JAD) facilitation or other requirements gathering techniques.
Experience with data profiling tools and processes.
Experience developing and conducting training.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Basic knowledge of banking and of lending terminology.
Occasional travel required.
Availability for on-call rotation and occasional work outside normal business hours.
Compensation Information Estimated Base Salary Range:
$80,000 - $110,000 Target short-term incentive opportunity:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
