Bethany Early Childhood Center is seeking warm, committed teacher's to enrich two of our toddler-age programs.
In this half-day/Full day program for children ages 2.
5 to 4 year old's, we provide a gentle introduction to a school environment and routines.
Child-directed learning is scaffolded by individualization to each child's particular needs and goals with the help of The Creative Curriculum for Toddlers and Preschool.
BECC is a 4-star quality rated program through Colorado Shines committed to providing high-quality interactions and teacher qualifications.
We are a small community of teachers dedicated to Early Childhood Education.
Minimum Requirements for Application:
1.
Must be Early Childhood Lead Teacher Qualified 2.
Must have 1 year experience working in a professional environment with children ages 1 and 2.
3.
Must be able to commit to a minimum work schedule of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8am to 1:
30pm.
Additional hours are available to qualify for full-time status if desired by the applicant.
4.
Must be able to pass Fingerprinting and State CBI Trails Background Checks.
Preferred Experience/
Qualifications:
1.
Be enrolled in the Colorado Shines PDIS Credential System - Please provide proof of your credential level with your application.
2.
Adequate experience writing and implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans.
3.
Experience with The Creative Curriculum, Teaching Strategies Gold, Ages and Stages Developmental Assessments, or other curriculum programs or child developmental assessments Job Duties:
1.
Write and implement daily learning experiences on a lesson plan.
Lessons should be developmentally appropriate, engaging, and in line with the desires, interests, and needs of the enrolled students.
2.
Maintain the care and wellbeing of 10 students with the help of a teaching assistant.
This includes strong classroom management, safety procedures, serving snacks and meals, diapering/toileting procedures, and proper sanitization/maintenance of the classroom materials and surfaces.
3.
Supervise and mentor teaching assistant assigned to your classroom.
4.
Participate in annual staff training week and ongoing education as required by licensing.
5.
Uphold all state and school policies and procedures for health and safety.
6.
Conduct developmental assessments on each child twice per year and engage in Parent-Teacher Conferences with student families.
