50 an hour Job Summary Computer Hardware Service Technician South Seas Data is hiring full time employment with benefits offered.
We have a semi-flexible weekday schedule that will be set between South Seas Data and yourself.
Overtime will be available for this project and position.
We have an excellent repair facility and excellent team of technicians that we are looking to expand.
The Technician will be responsible for repair and refurbishment of computer, payment terminal and printer assets.
Hardware and software level diagnosis testing, part replacement and rebuild of multiple makes and models of hardware to customer expectations.
This position exhibits an excellent opportunity to work with many variations of hardware platforms.
Entry level computer technicians encouraged to apply.
Training will be provided on hardware.
Responsibilities and Duties Responsibilities and Skills:
-Screen, clean, diagnose, rebuild, and burn in depot equipment-Ensure and maintain the company's high quality assurance standards -Ensure accurate entries related to asset and inventory tracking databases -Troubleshooting skill-set to isolate and diagnose failures -Good PC usage skills:
Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel and ability to learn a new application to track work completed -Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times including a clean bench and work area-Flexible selected work schedule Daily Activities:
-Diagnose, clean, and repair equipment-Rebuild and configure equipment-Image platforms-Daily component setup and take down before and after burn in -Log all daily usage of part inventories and scrap equipment-Log all labor and part usage in asset management system accurately-Maintain clean work environment -New PC builds project positions -QA position for qualified candidates with higher level skills to program PC and terminal equipment Qualifications and Skills - A
certification is completed as well as ability to complete daily work.
-South Seas Data will assist with A
certification process if hired without this credential.
-Position requires use of tools, network imaging software, PC burn software, internal applications to record and track work Those capable of working with a team, yet manage their own daily activities and production will succeed in this position and enjoy the work environment and benefits of working for South Seas Data.
