Summary:
Create empowering and inclusive experiences for Charter Communications end-users.
Design products and services for easier accessibility to the differently abled, following compliance to produce universal product experiences that work for Charter Communications end-users.
Design accessibility-based products and features directly impacting end-users experience and oversee technical solutions.
Actively and consistently support efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
Shape QA testing plans to meet business goals and to ensure positive end-user experience to meet Charter Communications standards.
Oversee UI/UX and development teams to support standards, define application interactions, and perform usability and Accessibility testing.
Work within cross-functional teams to understand expectations, priorities, and necessary deliverables.
Develop, modify, enhance, and implement software designs and design ideas.
Lead brainstorming sessions, wireframe, and design reviews to solve problems.
Test and diagnose complex issues, evaluate, recommend, and execute best resolutions; ensure alignment of implementation of Accessibility standards across various products and platforms; and mentor and coach designers and developers on proper standards.
Utilize accessibility technologies, including JAWS, NVDA, ZoomText, and Dragon Naturally Speaking technologies.
Perform software development and front-end software development.
Conduct Accessibility Quality Assurance testing practices.
EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Engineering Design, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
Must have 3 years of experience performing software development including front-end software development; and conducting Accessibility Quality Assurance testing practices; and 2 years of experience utilizing accessibility technologies including JAWS, NVDA, ZoomText, or Dragon Naturally Speaking.
Remote work is available 2 days per week.
Salaries depend on geography, experience, and education; negotiations begin at $102,482 per year.
