Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesThis role will be onsite in Englewood, CO The State Income Tax Manager is responsible for the review of various state income tax projects related to compliance, audit defense, tax planning, and other miscellaneous assignments.

Responsibilities:
Review state and local income tax returns Review apportionment rates and supporting data Review calculations for estimated tax payments Manage tax audits and various controversy matters Respond to state notices and communicate with taxing authorities Assist with calculations for quarterly and year-end tax provision Partner with outside tax consultants on various projects Collaborate with accounting, legal, and other tax department personnel to accomplish assigned objectives Train and mentor junior staff Skills, Experience and RequirementsEducation and
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field and 5
years of corporate state income tax experience required.
Public accounting experience and CPA preferred but not required.
Other
Qualifications:
Experience with Excel is required Working knowledge of CORPTax tax software is a plus Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to research technical issues through CCH Ability to work in a fluid environment and multitask multiple projects Salary Range Compensation:
$80,000.
00/Year - $120,000.

Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
