Position
Summary:
The Legal Operations Manager will report to the Director of Legal Affairs and Marketing Compliance will provide support to the national network of ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers by managing daily legal operations and field support, internal legal communications, legal onboarding and training, and other similar matters.
As our legal operations manager, you will be key in creating processes and practices to improve the day-to-day efficiency and effectiveness of the legal team and to facilitate change.
The Manager will also contribute to other projects on the legal team as time permits.
Duties/
Responsibilities:
Identify and implement legal department tools to streamline new or existing practices, as well as managing design, rollout, and training for new systems; Manage center level legal communications including the records request process and lead the discussions with field teams in the handling of challenging patients; Oversee the various technology platforms for the legal team, including CT Corporation, Legal Tracker, and FreshService, the ticketing system for incoming legal questions; Support the establishment of new network centers by compiling legal research and managing all corporate filings; Create and update internal legal communications across various platforms (e.
g internal website, internal memos); Train and onboard all new hires with regard to key legal issues employees will face; Create and implement new legal training materials and videos for ClearChoice University; Develop trusted relationships with associates of all levels in the organization to strengthen a positive, collaborative culture towards legally compliant operations and ethical decision making; Contribute to and drive key department projects and initiatives; and Collaborate with cross-functional teams across various business units to ensure legal issues are addressed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
Work experience in paralegal, legal, or applicable corporate experience is preferred.
Work experience in healthcare a plus.
Knowledge or familiarity with state and federal regulatory processes a plus.
