The Director should continually conduct research to understand changes in cultivation technology/methodologies and incorporate best practices into our processes to both maximize production capabilities and contribute towards our reputation as a producer of high quality cannabis products.
Communication with other departments will be critical to ensure clean, perpetual harvests meet requirements of ownership.
Key Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of cannabis cultivation including propagation, vegetative and flowering growing stages for over 3000 plants.
Direct all IPM practices to ensure consistent crop production Support company wide production efforts through effective crop scheduling and communication Manage and train cultivation and harvest staff Assist in screening and hiring new cultivation staff Ensure strict adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements, including the MED regulations Meet performance metrics as set by ownership/management Create/revise SOP's to reflect current processes Other duties as assigned by ownership/management Collaborate with management/ownership to achieve company goals and objectives Maintaining the highest level of operational standards Lead by example Required Qualifications Must have 5
years experience in commercial cannabis cultivation Must be willing to work in Englewood, CO Must have an MED occupational license Must be able to lift 50 lbs Must have reliable transportation Preferred
Qualifications:
Have a B.
S.
or above in Horticulture, Plant Biology, or other related field At least 3 years experience leading a cannabis cultivation team Job Type:
