Rural Physicians Group (RPG) is the leading provider in rural healthcare services and we're looking for a driven Provider Operations Coordinator to add to our team.
We are looking for someone able to start in June.
Job Description:
The Provider Operations Coordinator primary function is to support the provider in all onboarding areas and ensure ongoing provider and program success.
The Provider operations coordinator will manage the ongoing day-to-day processes between departments related to provider management to include; maintaining physician and assigned hospital schedules, provider Self-scheduling portal, updating shared data sites, and routinely engaging in duties related to provider success.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for the provider and maintain regular contact to ensure provider ongoing success Maintain the day- to - day processes to ensure provider/hospital coverage 24/7, 365 days a year Engage with providers one-on-one to ensure accurate instructions and expectations Establish and lead routine, monthly and quarterly check-ins with individual providers, as well as the provider team by program, to monitor provider success and compliance Manage and coordinate Onboarding for new Providers to RPG and individual program as assigned by management.
Provide facility onboarding details to ensure new providers are aware of facility critical success factors and key pressure points Report provider concerns, participate in problem solving and identify solutions to non-standard requests and problems Engage RPG Regional Medical Director, Regional Program Directors and local Chief Hospitalists in problem solving Assess coverage needs and generate schedules which guarantee providers will be assigned his/her minimum commitment of shifts based on open availability Mitigate scheduling gaps 90 days and greater with automated process Update and publish schedule to accommodate changes Distribute original and revised schedules to hospitals monthly or as needed Maintain Provider Self-Scheduling Tool and increase provider utilization Responsible for contributing to the achievement of annual departmental bonus metrics Report shift changes for payroll accuracy Update and maintain provider contact information Maintain adherence to all RPG and Scheduling protocols and policies Work with team leaders, managers, and department heads to facilitate organizational needs and goals Any other duties deemed necessary by management
Qualifications:

years experience in clinic management or a similar role Able to handle moderately complex issues and problems Strong attention to Detail Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to communicate routinely and effectively with Physicians, C-Suite, and other Key Stakeholders.
