Title: Jr. Systems Programmer (Java)
Job Description: Gunther Douglas' client is looking to add multiple systems programmers to its Technical Infrastructure team. The programmers will be responsible for development, maintenance, and support of specialized applications for use by in-house user communities and external clients. This project is expected to last 9 months with likely conversion to FTE by the client.
Requirements:
1-3 years' programming experience
Experience with Perl, Java/J2EE, UNIX (Solaris/Linux)
Scripting experience (C, Korn, Bourne)
Application Server experience with one of the following: Apache, Tomcat, JBoss, or WebLogic
Experience configuring and optimizing J2EE application servers, ideally JBoss or WebLogic
Familiar with UNIX OS, tools, and utilities
Highly Desired, but not required:
C/C++, PL/SQL, Groovy/Grails, Oracle/Pro C Forms
CVS, ANT, FTP, SSH, SSL, PGP
