Description:
The director/manager of BI has primary responsibility for managing the day-to-day tactical operations of the BI team. You will be responsible for contributing to the overall BI Organizational strategy. The BI Director/Manager will be responsible for working with core clinical and business units throughout the organization to meet BI needs.
Required Skills:
He/she will be responsible for all, tactical, operational, human, and technical resource managerial responsibilities associated with the following BI and BI-related functional areas:
Data preparation (sourcing, acquisition, integration)
Data warehousing
Reporting, analytics, data exploration
Information delivery (portals, mobile)
Desired Skills:
Health care industry based business intelligence management experience
Experience working with healthcare data, performance metrics and business intelligence strategy
General understanding of workflow within clinical and administrative environments in various healthcare settings (physician office, hospital, clinics, etc.)
Knowledge of and experience with statistics and outcome measurements including a full understanding of the use of medical terms in the creation of outcome measurement tools
Experience with assisting hospitals achieve improved performance in areas of population health, disease management programs, etc
executive
level communication skills e.g. written, oral and interpersonal
Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, assertive follow - through and passion for the highest level of customer satisfaction
Strong analytical and organizational skills and attention to detail
Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Strong general
computer
literacy, including MS Office, SQL, Internet applications and maintains a high level of comfort, ability and desire to advance technically
Experience with the agile process
Extensive expertise in data modeling, both logical and physical.
Extensive experience in multidimensional data modeling, such as star schemas, snowflakes, denormalized models, handling slow-changing dimensions/attributes.
Experience in and understanding of a wide variety of analytical processes (governance, measurement, etc.).
A solid understanding of key BI trends.
Extensive expertise in data modeling, both logical and physical.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
