Role
Summary:
Do you enjoy identifying the small pieces of system architecture that are required to make the big-picture solution work for a problem domain? Are you a conceptual thinker, but still able to dive into the system details when needed? Do you have experience managing the work of others in a matrix organization? The Project Lead Systems Analyst sets the direction for requirements and analysis activities, performs gap analysis to ensure all system impacts and associated requirements are discovered and assists in architecture, application design and test activities on large projects. In addition, the Project Lead Systems Analyst manages the work of systems analysts assigned to a large project, mentors systems analysts, facilitates issue and conflict resolution and performs work stream requirements and analysis activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and at least five years of solid, diverse work experience in business analysis or systems analysis, OR an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Oracle, or other relational, database experience as well as SQL query skills required.
COTS (Commercial Off The Shelf) system experience highly desirable. Facets experience a bonus.
Business/systems analyst experience required including demonstrated experience working with users to identify and validate requirements.
Experience with documenting technical and data mapping specifications and supporting the design and testing efforts of a large multi-team, complex project.
Experience identifying potential solutions.
Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with disparate clients.
Ability to independently lead and facilitate meetings.
Proven skills in conflict resolution required.
Must be able to work on multiple projects concurrently and work within deadlines
