Requirements
A successful Instructional Designer/Developer will have the following:
Bachelors degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent; six years overall experience and two plus years instructional design experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to effectively interact with all levels of organizational staff. Competencies include excellent presentation/facilitation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
Advanced to expert skills with departmental developer applications, (i.e. Adobe Creative Suite, Captivate, InDesign, and Articulate).
Flexible, innovative and the ability to manage responsibilities and priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented and time-critical environment.
Responsibilities
The Instructional Designer/Developer designs and builds online and instructor-led curriculum for external training programs. This position is within DISHs Installation and Service group and will be located out of the corporate offices in Englewood, CO.
Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:
Analyzes work process and business challenges during needs analysis. Studies system applications used by various departments in their business process and develops appropriate user documentation and training curriculum.
Develops top quality, coherent and concise user documentation, training materials, and lesson plans that support the training strategy and improve overall user capabilities.
Provides interface with project managers, business analysts, developers, architects, and users during all phases of system analysis, testing, training, and deployment. Manages training projects from assessment to evaluation.
Provides user support as necessary. Provides instructional design strategy and guidance for small projects and teams. As well as essential guidance to peers via document and materials reviews and feedback.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
