We are currently seeking a
Director of Operations- Training
to direct training and communications to increase the effectiveness of employees across the 11 U.S.- based Customer Service Centers as well as outsourced sites.
Requirements
A successful Director candidate will have the following:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and 8 years related experience including at least 2 years supervisory or management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to effectively respond to and interact with all levels of organizational staff and build strong relationships with business stakeholders. Competencies include excellent presentation/facilitation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
Flexible, innovative and the ability to manage staff, responsibilities and priorities in a fast paced, growth-oriented and time-critical environment.
Ability to travel 25% of the time.
Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to dive deeply into a problem and brainstorm creative solutions. Must be able to interpret an extensive variety of technical and non-technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference as well as define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

Job Responsibilities
This position will lead all activities related to the determination of training needs, as well as the development, delivery and evaluation of all training and communications programs.
Manage all curricula development and distribution for all new and existing employees in our customer service centers.
Lead field training organizations both in DISH's owned and operated sites as well as our outsourced call centers.
Collaborate with business operations to communicate process changes.
Establish and maintain a measurement for training effectiveness and evaluation.
Engage in the typical responsibilities of a director requiring planning, evaluating, organizing, integrating, and leading.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Manage a talented team of exempt and/or supervisory staff. Execute the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. Responsibilities encompass all areas of management including interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
