Job Duties: Analyze engineering, business and other data processing issues to implement and improve systems. Analyze user requirements, procedures and protocols to automate and/or improve existing systems and review capabilities, workflow and other procedures. Responsible for enterprise-wide database management and administration. Maintain highly available database environments, achieving optimal performance and ensuring database backup and recovery. Work with large scale database environments and use knowledge in server, network, storage, virtualization, data center automation and infrastructure technologies. Work with database environment consisting of 120
SQL Server databases instances set up in about 100 cluster arranged servers. Use advanced database technologies such as database replication, data encryption, data synchronization, database flashback, database HA and database recovery. Administer and support in multiple data centers including Production and Test Environment. Perform SQL Server installations, upgrade and patches in multi-nodes Windows cluster environments. Perform database performance analysis, tuning and disaster recovery. Configure database backup and perform backup/recovery testing. Provide technical recommendation and database support on assigned projects with different vendors, application support and Windows admin group. Provide DBA support on existing SQL Server environments including change management, code releases, breakfixes and (7X24) on call support. Work with Enterprise Monitoring team to configure and review database monitoring.
Job Requirements: Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field followed by 6 years progressive post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or computer-related occupation. Alternatively, will accept a Masters in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field and 4 years experience in job offered or computer-related occupation. Any suitable combination of education, experience or training is acceptable.
Experience must include: 1. SQL DBA experience working in enterprise environments; 2. Experience with various SQL versions, including installation and configuration of standalone, clustered servers, and multiple cluster configurations; 3. Experience with troubleshooting SQL Server issues and optimization in Production and non-production environments; 4. Setup of backup processes troubleshooting and validating successful backup processes; 5. Experience in the development and configuration of Disaster Recovery for various SQL Server configurations; 6. Experience in Capacity Planning, including load and sizing forecasts; 7. Experience in general SQL health monitors, maintenance skills included performance; 8. Troubleshooting and identifying Root Cause as related to SQL Server issues; 9. Experience in a 7x24 production environment including on-call which includes nights, weekends and holidays; 10. Experience producing periodic reporting and support application team questions and solutions; 11. SQL Security standards and implementing security credentials for SQL Server; 12. SQL Server patching; 13. Microsoft licensing models for SQL Server; 14. Experience in the Data Warehouse environment and database sizes; 15. Database auditing skills; 16. Performance tuning and load balancing including monitoring; and 17. T-SQL and writing SQL scripts

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
