Summary:
Effective book of business management. Settlement production - reporting 5500 financials to our Healthcare accounts, RAF (Rate Action Form) Quality Assurance, membership census (pre.post) reporting, as well as settlement and renewal file set up. Effective management of our Underwriting Dashboard quality alerts. Meet or exceed established production metrics to help drive persistency within Healthcare, and Group accounts. Interacts with underwriting in setting up renewal file as well as obtaining all sold information to complete our implementation processes. Proactively develop internal and external relationships that leverage Operations expertise, improve current processes, and assess value added and non-value added tasks. Find opportunities to influence and improve quality Underwriting Operations processes and productivity, and ensure an appropriate control environment. Embrace a high performance culture through teamwork, personal development, accountability, and involvement in special projects.
Responsibilities:
Interacts with Underwriting partners in the coordination/implementation of our Rate Action form/s and interdepartmental partners to effectively communicate benefit plan information. Works with sales and Underwriting as well as business partners in resolving daily service issues.
Establishes and complies with a client's specific service plan.
Assists and/or performs account installation, annual rate implementation and cancellation for smaller accounts.
Performs routine maintenance, report preparation and issue resolution with efficient book of business management through timely and proper utilization of OA portfolio workbooks on the UW Dashboard.
Produces accurate and timely year end settlement financials, 5500 reporting, and direct mail within ERISA guidelines (120 days from the close of the policy year).
Acts as an intermediary between client organizations and members for customer service issues.
Build strong effective relationships with all our matrix partners (Underwriting, Sales, Implementation, Billing, Commissions, and CAU etc.). Demonstrate approachability and openness with regard to delivering consistent customer service.
Provides information to enrollment and installation teams.
Complies with all business operating controls/quality assurance processes.
Take personal accountability for contributions to organizational results, successfully complete all required training and take responsibility for continuous leaning and development.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's strongly preferred
Working financial acumen and mathematical ability
