Job Duties and Responsibilities
We are seeking a SQL Analyst for an opportunity within Sling TV in Englewood, CO. This person will work with the Marketing, Planning, and Analytics team to extract relevant data from the Data Warehouse and other operational systems to provide marketing insights on customer behavior. The analyst must have experience in translating business requests into data queries and in integrating data from multiple sources to create comprehensive and accurate data sets.
Primary Responsibilities fall into the following categories:
Create ad hoc complex SQL queries to provide marketing insights
Automate key reports for the management of a marketing program
Assemble and scrub data sets to support in depth marketing analysis
Interpret data to identify marketing trends and anomalies
Manage data and processes between the data warehouse, data sources, and external partner/vendor tools and applications
Advise on structure and design of the Data Warehouse to meet marketing information needs

Skills - Experience and Requirements
A successful Analyst/Developer will have the following:
Bachelor's degree from four year college or university; or two years related experience and/or training; and two plus years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum 2-3 years experience in any SQL language required. Experience designing and writing tables, storing procedures, views and functions
Experience with T-SQL, NZPLSQL, PL/SQL, SPL language preferred
Extensive experience exporting, analyzing, and managing data from multiple sources
