Director, Business Planning

JOB SUMMARY
Support the business planning function for assigned regional and corporate organizations. Support operational performance while maintaining prudence of financial controls and asset protection. Support and consolidate business analysis, capital planning, budget/ forecasting, and financial statements of functions. Support the planning and evaluation of capital needs for development and expansion of the regions. Create, implement and enhance consistent practices to ensure stable service delivery aligned with company initiatives and expectations.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide guidance, oversight and consolidation of the budget and forecasts ensuring consistent assumptions and methodologies are utilized across assigned regions
Oversee the preparation of business analysis for monthly and quarterly operating results for assigned regions. Conduct monthly review of financial results as part of the monthly closing process
Support the execution of proper financial controls, including CPR creation, PO creation, processing of accounts payable, accrual creation and other controls related to safeguarding assets
Develop, maintain and ensure consistent use of budget/forecast models
Work cross-functionally with various levels throughout the organization to identify and drive value-added change, including process improvements, cost control, internal audit compliance, operational efficiencies, and customer experience improvements. Support assigned Regions with deployment of identified enhancements.
Serve as the Field Ops liason with the Ariba team and the Onbase team
Provide direct business planning support for the corporate construction organization
Perform other duties as requested
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Strong business planning and forecasting skills
Strong analytic, organizational, and problem solving skills
Strong interpersonal and communications skills
Ability to focus on overall strategy of the region along with excellent attention to
detail
Ability to work well under pressure, handle multiple priorities, and make deadlines
Solid financial management skills including monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, forecasting, budgeting planning and a keen commercial sense of business
Strong knowledge of budget preparation, variance analysis and strategic planning
Strong knowledge of MIS and reporting systems
Knowledge in acquisition process
Education
Bachelor's Degree in related field required
Related Work Experience Number of Years
