Our shop owner Jack always has an eye on the market.
Of course when this Mercedes Benz 280SL recently went up for sale we picked it up.
Jack found that the car hadn't been driven in nearly 30 years, and the unique color combination of Blue exterior and the Parchment interior was a rare option on these classic 280s.
When the Benz first came in we got to work on cleanup.
Getting the engine running smoothly again and doing a bit of suspension work.
This is one of the best cars we've found that needs a restoration, but is still looking for its next caretaker.
We would be happy to finish the restoration or do it yourself.
