Vehicle Description Check out this 1978 Trans Am in excellent very original condition.
It is an original Starlight Black on Black car and is also a rare non-T-Top version which makes for a stronger unibody.
The car came with the Pontiac 400 L78 engine, automatic transmission, positraction rear end, power steering, power brakes, and power windows.
The odometer currently reads 64,464 and this is believed to be original based on the overall condition of the vehicle.
The paint and body show very well but do show some character due to age.

The decals have been replaced with new vinyl stickers.
The paint on the roof does show some lacquer checking but the rest of the car does not and shows very well.
The interior of the vehicle appears to be completely unrestored and is in excellent original condition.
Recent service work includes new front and rear brakes, calipers, and wheel cylinders.
Believe it or not, the brakes that came off the vehicle appeared to be completely original.
The A/C was converted to R134a and does blow cold.
The A/C compressor is a little noisy when it is running, however.
Has a newer CARB certified catalytic converter, shocks, tires, and Halogen headlight bulbs.
