Vehicle Description By 1994 Mercedes had dramatically improved their popular SL models, with a POWER convertible top and even more luxury appointments plus modern safety advances like refined ABS brakes, stability control, multiple airbags and even an automatic roll bar! They still provided a snug removable hard top that looked very stylish when on the car.
This modern classic Mercedes-Benz SL has been a Denver resident since being sold new here in May of '94, and has been under the care of the third owner since 2014.
We have the bundle of owner's books including the factory build sheet, radio code card, all the extra keys and the spare wheel & tools have never been out of the trunk.
We have the original window sticker ($101,825) that shows all the car's features and the optional heated seats.
There is a file of past service receipts, all from the Benz dealer and just last week a new $200 battery was installed there.
The only weak spot on the car is what are likely the original (!) Michelin tires that are certainly due to be replaced, though aren't worn badly.
The factory Smoke Silver color was one of the most popular in-period and is nicely accented by the Parchment leather interior and still-nice black soft top.
There are no indications of any past accident damage (confirmed by a clean CarFax).
Obviously a summer-only car, the underside looks perfect, with absolutely no signs of rust or corrosion.
Please do not compare this car with its sisters that lived in the upper Midwest and suffered through salty winters.
We have an 'Actual Miles' title and the current 36,610 are certainly among the lowest likely to be found.
