THE MOST ORIGINAL CLASSIC YOU'RE LIKELY TO FIND IN COLORADO The original owner lived here in Colorado and special ordered this first-year LTD from the factory in 1965 with Rangoon Red paint and the powerful 390 V-8 engine.
A neighbor bought it sometime in the 1980s, if I remember correctly.
We bought it from the neighbor and have kept this car for over 20 years.
Now it's time to find a new home for this beautiful classic.
INCREDIBLY LOW MILES To the best of our knowledge, the odometer shows the original miles (just over 50K).
The engine and transmission are original and have never been rebuilt.
Since the engine is still configured to run on leaded gas, we recommend adding leaded gas substitute to the tank when you fill up.
We're pretty sure this car still has the original paint.
It has been touched up in a few places.
We rebuilt the carburetor about 15 years ago.
Now, since it's more than 50 years old, it's not perfect.
The radio antenna is broken and needs to be replaced.
Also, the fuel gauge doesn't work.
It needs some TLC.
But if you're looking for an all-original classic, this Galaxie is hard to beat.
We're a little sad to sell this car.
It's been wonderful.
But we've run out of room, so now it's your turn to take the keys and bring this gorgeous Galaxie home!.
